Academic Achievement

Training for teachers in a range of new approaches for teaching reading, writing and mathematics has been very successful in raising standards across the school. – Ofsted 2014

Key Stage 2

In 2016 new attainment standards nationally for children in Year 6.  Children are awarded a scaled score in reading; grammar, punctuation and spelling (GPS) and maths, with 100 being the national average.  Writing is assessed by the class teacher using national criteria.
